Meet Alexis and Adam, the dynamic duo living their dream in a 28ft International Skoolie. Alexis, originally from Florida, discovered the nomadic lifestyle while in college in Tahoe, California. She bought a 2005 Dodge Sprinter van post-graduation and hit the road. Fate intervened when she met Adam in Santa Cruz, and their shared love for adventure brought them together. After a tragic accident totaled their van, they decided to invest in a more robust and spacious school bus, transforming it into a cozy, functional home.

Their Skoolie is a blend of their passions, with natural wood finishes, light colors, and a serene design inspired by the ocean and the forest. Inside, you'll find a pull-out couch, a well-organized art desk, and a bathroom and shower that feel like a spa retreat. The bus is also home to their dog, Onyx, and their cat, Puss, who join them on their travels. Despite the challenges, including finding mechanics willing to work on a school bus, Alexis and Adam cherish the freedom and adventure of nomadic life.

Nomad Business Highlight of the Week

This week, we're excited to feature Nick, a mobile mechanic who ensures you're never stranded and always ready for your next adventure.

Nick, the owner of Pall Mobile Service, first made an impression at Skooliepalooza 2024 by offering free classes on air brake systems and tirelessly fixing rigs at affordable prices. My personal experience with Nick highlighted his dedication when he drove three hours to San Diego to fix my van, charging significantly less than local mechanics.

Nick's numerous glowing reviews from the nomadic community, such as Sofia B. praising his honesty and skills, Tiffany B. calling him the "REAL DEAL," and J.J W. commending his quality work at an honest price, attest to his exceptional service.

Beyond his professional skills, Nick's strong family support system, including his wife Chelsi and their two boys, adds to his reliability and warmth. His story, dedication, and family-oriented approach make him a true asset to the nomadic lifestyle. For reliable and friendly mobile mechanic services, look no further than Nick at Pall Mobile Service.
